Boise State men’s basketball: What you need to know for the 2016-17 season
The Broncos have five seasons of 20 or more wins under seventh-year head coach Leon Rice, including the last four in a row. The 2016-17 campaign could have its ups and downs, however, as Boise State returns one full-time starter from last season in forward Nick Duncan. The roster is filled with more questions than answers, though there is talent across the board. Boise State’s early schedule won’t do it any favors, either, with trips to Charleston, S.C., Oregon, Evansville, Ind., and a home matchup against SMU. Come Mountain West play, though, and the Broncos should be battle-tested enough to make some noise in the conference race.
