Idaho colleges: Elliott wraps up historic Boise State track career

Boise State senior David Elliott finished 18th in the men’s 1,500 meters with a time of 3 minutes, 49.93 seconds at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday, earning honorable mention All-American honors but failing to qualify for Friday’s final.

Elliott becomes the sixth Bronco in history to collect four All-American honors, and he concludes his career with five school records and four Mountain West championships.

IDAHO TRACK & FIELD: Sophomore Arphaxad Carroll recorded a distance of 24 feet, 3 1/2 inches to finish 16th in the men’s long jump.
