Boise State’s Logan France shoots 67 at Mountain West Golf Tourney

Senior Bronco Logan France shot a 5-under 67 in the second round of the Mountain West Golf Tournament, moving into a tie for third place. He is two shots back from the leader. France is trying to become the first BSU medalist since Troy Merritt won the 2008 WAC title. The Broncos tied for seventh place.

BSU WOMEN’S TENNIS: The Broncos (12-9, 4-2 Mountain West) closed out the regular season with a 4-3 win over Utah State, their fourth victory in a row. Boise State next travels to Fort Collins, Colo., for the Mountain West Championship. Play beings on Thursday.

BSU MEN’S TENNIS: The Broncos (18-9, 6-2 Mountain West) closed their regular season with a sweep of Gonzaga (5-0) and Idaho (4-0). BSU will look for its fifth Mountain West Championship title next week.

BSU BEACH VOLLEYBALL: The Broncos closed out their season with a sweep of exhibition matches over Northwest Nazarene, Southern Idaho and the College of Idaho.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO BASEBALL: The Yotes (30-17, 17-12 NAIA West) dropped both games at British Columbia, losing 2-0 and 3-2.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE SOFTBALL: The Crusaders (17-29, 11-17 GNAC) finished their season with a road split against Montana State Billings, winning 9-5 before falling 9-1.

NNU BASEBALL: The Crusaders (24-16, 19-11 GNAC) split on the road against Western Oregon, taking the first game 9-6 before falling 9-8 in the finale.
