Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State softball swept by Fresno State

Fresno State completed a three-game series sweep with an 18-2, five-inning victory over the Boise State softball team Wednesday at Dona Larsen Park. Catcher Morgan Lamb hit a solo home run for BSU (8-26, 0-6 MW), while shortstop Rebekah Cervantes went 3-for-3 and drove in the Broncos’ second run.

BSU MEN’S TENNIS: Freshman Kyle Buttars is the Mountain West player of the week.

IDAHO WOMEN’S GOLF: Freshman Sophie Hausmann is the Big Sky golfer of the week for the second time this season.
