Idaho colleges roundup: Nevada tops Boise State in MW softball opener

Kwynn Warner hit two home runs, including a solo, walk-off shot in the eighth inning, as the Wolf Pack beat Boise State with three runs in the eighth for a 4-3 victory to open their three-game series. Teauna Hughes had a two-out, two-run homer in the top of the eighth that put Boise State ahead 3-1. Izzy Serrano was 4-for-4 for BSU (8-21, 0-1 MW), matching the school record for hits in a game.

BSU WOMEN’S TENNIS: The Broncos’ three-match win streak ended with a 6-1 loss at UC Santa Barbara. Hanna Kantenwein recorded the lone win for BSU (7-8), winning 2-6, 6-4, 10-6 at No. 1 singles.
