Boise State gymnastics rises to ninth nationally

The Boise State gymnastics team tied its highest national ranking in program history Monday, moving up one spot to No. 9 with a 196.210 average.

By event, Boise State is seventh on uneven bars (49.180), 13th on floor (49.115), and 14th on vault (48.995) and balance beam (48.920).

Senior Krystine Jacobsen is sixth individually on the bars (9.895).

BSU hosts No. 26 Ohio State at 7 p.m. Friday at Taco Bell Arena.

BSU MEN’S TENNIS: The Broncos (6-4) defeated Idaho State 6-1 in Pocatello. Abe Hewko, Lewis Roskilly, Greg Wischer and Danny Moyer won singles and doubles matches for Boise State.
