Idaho college roundup: Boise State women hold off Utah State

Miquelle Askew and Brooke Pahukoa combined for 23 second-half points to lead the basketball team past Utah State 63-58 on Wednesday night.

Boise State (15-6, 8-2 Mountain West) outscored the Aggies (10-11, 5-5) 10-4 in the final 3:25, earning its seventh straight victory. Askew led Boise State with 15 points, while Pahukoa finished with 13.

Boise State will look to add to its winning streak at 2 p.m. Saturday at Taco Bell Arena against Air Force (0-21, 0-10).
