Boise State women wrap up nonconference schedule with win
Brooke Pahukoa scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Boise State women’s basketball team to an 84-79 win at Eastern Washington on Monday night.
Pahukoa scored 20 of her 30 points in the first half, including 14 in the first quarter.
The Broncos (7-4) open Mountain West play Jan. 2 at Colorado State, and they return home to host Utah State at Taco Bell Arena on Jan. 6.
BSU WRESTLING: Sophomore Geordan Martinez won the 149-pound weight class at the Reno Tournament of Champions on Sunday. The Broncos finished 11th in the 27-team field, which was won by Illinois.
IDAHO WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Vandals (7-4) went 4-for-28 from the field over the final 15 minutes, falling to Abilene Christian 71-59 on Sunday in Moscow.
