It has been a very impressive year for women’s sports at Boise State, from the basketball team winning the Mountain West, the cross country team taking sixth at nationals, gymnastics being ranked No. 13 in the nation, to soccer tying the school record with 13 wins.

As spring has come, the softball team is continuing that impressive trend, starting off with a 21-4 record as the Broncos play their first home games of the season (believe it or not) Friday and Saturday against San Diego State. The Broncos are No. 19 in the first NCAA RPI rankings.

Coach Maggie Livreri joined the 208 Podcast this week to talk about her team and what has made her first season so special.

Dave and Jay also discuss the future of Boise State men’s basketball, the women’s team getting no respect from the NCAA committee, a freezing cold take from Jay, and we ask you consider giving to the Worthington Family Healing Fund.
