Boise State’s Emma Chard, Emily Mathis swim at Phillips 66 National Championships
Emma Chard finished third in her heat in the women’s 200 freestyle (2 minutes, 2.61 seconds), and Emily Mathis finished sixth in her 200 breaststroke heat (2:39.51) at the Phillips 66 National Championships on Wednesday. Ally Kleinsorgen will compete in the 50 backstroke Thursday and 100 backstroke, while Chard will compete in the 400 freestyle Friday and 1,500 freestyle Saturday.
NORTHWEST NAZARENE TRACK AND FIELD: The Crusaders added four hurdlers to the men’s roster: Jesse Bale (Nampa), David Blum (Troy, Idaho), Noah Leaf (Soldotna, Alaska), and Dakota Tidwell (South Jordan, Utah).
