Boise State wrestling exits Las Vegas Invite early

Austin Dewey (Centennial High) and Josh Newberg fell in the first round of eight in the consolation bracket Friday to conclude the Broncos’ run at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

Boise State tallied 13.5 points and sits in a tie for 24th with Oregon State.

Both wrestlers went 2-2 at 174 and 133 pounds, respectively, at one of the nation’s top tournaments.
