Rocky Mountain grad Sherle has hat trick for Boise State soccer

Freshman Raimee Sherle scored three goals in the second half Friday as Boise State defeated Colorado College 3-0 on the road. It was the sixth hat trick in program history, but the first since Shannon Saxton on Oct. 1, 2010, at Hawaii. Saxton was also the last freshman to record a hat trick for the Broncos during a four-goal game Sept. 9, 2007, against Southern Utah. BSU (4-7-1, 3-0-0) is off to a 3-0 start in Mountain West play for the first time since joining the conference and is 3-0 to start conference play in any league for just the second time in program history. The 2007 Broncos began WAC play 3-0.
