Boise State volleyball drops conference opener to UNLV

Boise State lost to the Rebels for the first time in seven trips to Las Vegas, falling 25-23, 17-25, 25-21, 28-26 in Mountain West play Thursday night. Maddy O’Donnell and Sierra Nobley recorded 13 kills apiece for the Broncos (9-5, 0-1 MW), whose win streak ended at four games. Jaymee-Lee Bulda recorded a double-double with 46 assists and 11 digs, while Maddi Osburn (Vallivue High) had a team-high 16 digs.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE VOLLEYBALL: The Crusaders swept Montana State Billings 25-5, 25-20, 29-27 in Nampa. Kendra Bodine had a match-high 19 kills to go with 10 digs, Shayli Siegfried added 18 digs, and Hailey Cook (Skyview High) had 36 assists for NNU (9-2, 2-2 GNAC).

NNU MEN’S SOCCER: Montana State Billings shut out the Crusaders 3-0 in the conference opener in Nampa. Ryan Foo had six saves for NNU (3-3-1, 0-1-0 GNAC).

NNU WOMEN’S SOCCER: The Crusaders (2-5-0, 0-2-0 GNAC) lost 3-0 to Concordia in Portland.
