Two Boise State golfers qualify for national tournament
Jacob Byers and Tristan Rohrbaugh, both juniors, qualified Monday for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship on May 27-31 at Pinehurst in North Carolina.
Byers and Rohrbaugh each shot 13-under 59 during Monday’s qualifier at Falcon Crest Golf Club.
The four-ball tournament is a USGA national championship event that replaced the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 2015.
