Idaho Steelheads return penalty-killing defenseman Baldwin
Idaho’s ECHL hockey franchise agreed to terms with Corbin Baldwin, head coach Neil Graham announced Tuesday.
Baldwin, 25, joined the club last season and teamed effectively with Shawn Boutin on the blue line. The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder played all 72 games, had three goals, 17 assists and 75 penalty minutes, and ranked sixth in the ECHL with a plus-28 rating. He went 27 consecutive games without a minus rating, going plus-22 over that stretch.
The Steelheads open the 2016-17 regular season Oct. 14 at Utah.
