Boise Hawks take second straight victory at Vancouver
Boise pitchers held the Canadians to four hits en route to a 7-0 victory Sunday in Northwest League baseball action.
Antonio Santos allowed three hits over seven innings to pick up the victory. Daniel Suero went 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI and scored twice to lead Boise, which tallied 11 hits on the night.
The Canadians were held scoreless for the fifth time this season, while the Hawks’ staff recorded their third shutout of the year.
It’s the second straight win for the Hawks (26-36, 10-14 second half), who snapped a four-game losing streak Saturday night with a 5-4 win at Vancouver.
