North Boise Little League team faces elimination at regional
North Boise lost to Lynwood Pacific (Wash.) 18-7 in the first semifinal of the Northwest Regional baseball tournament Thursday. Boise will face Bend North (Ore.) at 1 p.m. MT Friday (ESPN) in a loser-out game. The winner advances to Saturday’s championship game against Lynwood Pacific. The regional champion will represent the Northwest at the World Series.
CAL RIPKEN BASEBALL: East Boise’s game against Okeeheelee (Fla.) was postponed Thursday. It will be made up at 9:30 a.m. MT Friday. The U-12 squad will play again at 6 p.m. if it wins or 5:30 p.m. if it loses. Two victories would put Boise in the bracket championships scheduled for Saturday. Boise went 2-2 in pool play.
