Boise Little League team plays regional semifinal on TV Thursday

North Boise is two wins away from a berth to the World Series in Williamsport. It will face Lynnwood Pacific (Wash.) in the semifinals of the Northwest Regional tournament at 1 p.m. MT Thursday on ESPN. The winner will advance to Saturday’s regional championship.

CAL RIPKEN BASEBALL: East Boise defeated host Ocala, Fla. 16-4 in the Cal Ripken Major/60 World Series, advancing to bracket play. Boise will face the South Florida state champ at 6 p.m. MT Thursday.

BABE RUTH SOFTBALL: The East Boise All-Stars were eliminated from the 12U World Series with a 4-2 loss to Litchfield Blast in Jensen Beach, Fla.
