Boise Hawks open homestand with walk-off victory
Willie Abreu homered in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Boise an 8-7 victory over Eugene on Friday night at Memorial Stadium.
The Hawks plated five runs in the ninth inning, highlighted by Steven Linkous’ two-run triple, to tie the game. Linkous finished 3-for-5.
The three-game Northwest League baseball series continues at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
