Hillsboro blanks Boise, pushing Hawks’ losing streak to three games
Hillsboro pitchers Bo Takahashi and Palmer Betts allowed just three hits and struck out six in a 4-0 victory over Boise on Wednesday in a Northwest League baseball game.
Daniel Suero, Jacob Bosiokovic and Willie Abreu had one hit apiece for the Hawks, who wrap up their three-game series against Hillsboro on Thursday before returning home for three games against Eugene beginning at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Memorial Stadium.
