Eagle’s Gliege qualifies for U.S. Amateur Championship

Texas A&M freshman and 2016 Eagle High golfer Josh Gliege finished five strokes ahead of his nearest competitor with a 36-hole total of 133 (65-68) at RedHawk Golf Course.

Gliege secured a spot in the U.S. Amateur Championship, which runs Aug. 15-21 at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
