Idaho Steelheads agree to terms with goaltender Komm

Branden Komm will return to Idaho for a second ECHL hockey season, the team announced Friday. In nine regular-season appearances with the Steelheads, Komm was 4-4-1 with a .911 save percentage and a 2.87 goal-against average. Komm also appeared in one playoff game, stopping all 13 shots he faced in relief.

THREE SIGN NHL DEALS: Three former Steelheads players landed two-way NHL/AHL contracts this week — defenseman Steven Oleksy with Pittsburgh (102 games in Idaho between 2009 and 2012), forward Chad Nehring with Ottawa (64 games, 2010-12) and forward Sam Carrick with Chicago (50 games, 2012-13).
