Boise Hawks end four-game losing streak in Everett
Left fielder Steven Linkous hit his first professional home run as the Boise Hawks held on for an 8-7 win over the Everett AquaSox on Sunday in a Northwest League baseball game.
The Hawks (3-7) fell behind 2-0 after the first inning, but they plated four runs in the second and two apiece in the third and fourth innings to regain the lead.
Right fielder Ryan Stephens led all hitters, going 3-for-4 with an RBI, while righty Javier Medina earned his second win and Julian Fernandez his second save.
