Bishop Kelly, Boise State golfer wins IGA match play

Kinsley Bonfilio, a Bishop Kelly High graduate and current Boise State golfer, won the 2016 IGA Women’s Match Play Championship on Saturday at Elkhorn Golf Club.

The fourth-seeded Bonfilio defeated No. 6 Sheryl Scott of Boise 4 and 2.

In the semifinals, Bonfilio upset top-seeded and defending champion Sierra Harr of Buhl in 19 holes.

The men’s and senior men’s tournaments conclude Sunday.
