Idaho Steelheads fall to Allen Americans, series even at 1-1

Idaho couldn’t slow down the Allen Americans and dropped Game 2 of their ECHL Western Conference quarterfinal series 3-1 Saturday night.

Rob Linsmayer scored Idaho’s only goal in the second period. The Steelheads mustered only 22 shots to Allen’s 34.

The two hockey teams will face off for Game 3 at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at CenturyLink Arena in Downtown Boise.
