Idaho Stampede lose steam, fall to Warriors on road

JJ O’Brien scored a game-high 26 points and all Idaho starters scored in double figures, but it wasn’t enough as the Stampede lost to Santa Cruz 107-96 in NBA Development League action Thursday night.

The Warriors (17-28), the only team below Idaho (18-29) in the Pacific Division standings, outscored the Stampede 34-21 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory.

The Stampede play at Reno on Saturday, then return to CenturyLink Arena for a season-ending homestand April 1-2 against Santa Cruz.
