Idaho Steelheads lose to Rapid City in shootout

Ryan Walters scored in the fourth shootout round, and the Rapid Rush defeated the Idaho Steelheads 3-2 in an ECHL hockey game Saturday night at CenturyLink Arena.

Jake Fallon and Zack Kamrass put Idaho (35-21-8) ahead 2-1, then Mikhail Stefanovich tied the game just fewer than 9 minutes into the third period.

Branden Komm had 35 saves for the Steelheads, who host the Colorado Eagles (33-26-4) at 7:10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
