Baseball/Softball
Boise Parks and Recreation adult softball: Register from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, through Friday, March 18, at the city rec office, 110 Scout Lane. Play runs from mid-April to mid-July. Spring break baseball camp: For ages 6-12, Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to noon for pitching and catching session and 1 to 4 p.m. for hitting and defense session at Charles F. Boise Senior Softball League: Taking registrations for its men’s metal bat draft leagues. All skill levels welcome. The 50+ league plays on Wednesday nights and the 60+ league on Tuesday nights in the Boise area beginning mid-April. Also a draft tournament April 30 in Boise. Idaho Senior Softball Association: Taking reservations for its men’s wooden bat league. Anyone born before 1957 (60 and over) is eligible; no one will be turned away. All skill levels welcome. Play in the Monday night or Wednesday night league or both. League play begins April 18. Cost is $40 per league. Tuesday morning league is $20. Deadline for signups is March 25.
