Idaho Stampede recover from slow start, top Austin Spurs

All five starters scored in double figures, led by Utah Jazz assignee Tibor Pleiss’ 24 points, and Idaho beat Austin 100-90 in NBA D-League action Saturday night at CenturyLink Arena.

Corey Hawkins added a career-high 21 points, and Treveon Graham had 20 for the Stampede (16-28), who outscored the Spurs 32-16 in the third quarter.

Idaho trailed 28-13 in the first quarter, shooting 28.6 percent from the field in that frame.

Idaho has two more home games this week, hosting Oklahoma City on Tuesday and Los Angeles on Thursday.
