Idaho Stampede lose another close one in final minute
For the second game in a row, Idaho failed to hang on to its late lead, falling 96-92 to Southwestern Division leader Austin on Friday in an NBA D-League basketball game at CenturyLink Arena.
A Tibor Pleiss dunk gave the Stampede (15-28) a one-point lead with 44.1 seconds left, but the Spurs (25-14) scored five unanswered points for the win.
Idaho’s Treveon Graham led all scorers with 34 points.
Idaho hosts the Spurs at 7 p.m. Saturday.
