Cory Jefferson and Xavier Munford each scored 20 points, and the Bakersfield Jam rallied from a 19-point, second-half deficit to defeat the Idaho Stampede 108-103 in overtime in an NBA Development League basketball game Friday night.
Jeff Ayres had a game-high 24 points for Idaho (14-24), which led 77-58 near the midpoint of the third quarter. The Stampede were outscored 24-16 in the fourth quarter, then shut out in overtime.
JJ O’Brien added 22 points and seven assists for Idaho, and Tibor Pleiss had 13 points and 16 rebounds.
The Stampede visit Los Angeles at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
