Idaho Steelheads lose to Wichita Thunder in overtime
Kale Kerbashian scored with 13 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Wichita Thunder a 3-2 comeback victory Saturday night over the Idaho Steelheads in an ECHL hockey game.
Wichita (11-31-10) forced overtime when Kenton Miller scored with 19 seconds remaining in the third period.
Joe Basaraba and Andre Morrissette scored second-period goals for the Steelheads (27-20-6), who had a 29-16 shot advantage through two periods before managing just seven attempts on goal the rest of the way. Idaho has played consecutive games without a win for the first time since Dec. 9-10.
The teams play again Sunday.
