Boise Senior Softball League: Taking registrations for its men’s metal bat draft leagues. All skill levels welcome. Running/Walking
5k Fun Run for Veterans: 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park. Raise awareness and money for Team RWB, a group that provides various activities to help veterans reintegrate back into society. Cost is $10. Sign up at myschoolfees.com.
Fight For Air Climb: Feb. 27 at the U.S. Bank Plaza, Downtown Boise. Participants test their stamina and lung power by climbing 32 to 128 flights of stairs. Fundraiser for the American Lung Association. Go to lung.org/get-involved/events/fight-for-air-climb.
St. Patrick’s Day Run/Walk: 9:30 a.m. March 12 at Julia Davis Park. Options are a 5-mile, 5k and 1-mile kid run. Fundraiser for YMCA Team Idaho cross country and track programs. Awards given to the best dressed leprechaun or green runner. Cost is $28 with and $22 without a shirt for the 5k/5-mile, and $20 for the 1-mile.
