Idaho Steelheads lose top player to Texas Stars

Forward Emil Molin has been called up to Texas of the American Hockey League and could miss Friday’s home game against the Utah Grizzlies.

The 2011 fourth-round NHL Draft pick of the Dallas Stars has recorded 38 points (19 goals, 19 assists) in 46 games for Idaho this season. The Steelheads — the Stars’ ECHL affiliate — play Utah at 7:10 p.m. Friday in CenturyLink Arena.
