Former Stampede player earns another 10-day deal

LOS ANGELES The Los Angeles Clippers have signed former Idaho Stampede forward Jeff Ayres to a second 10-day contract.

Ayres averaged 16.3 points and 9.5 rebounds in 23 games with Idaho of the NBA D-League. He has two points and two rebounds in three games with the Clippers.

During his five-year NBA career, the 28-year-old forward has played with Portland, Indiana, San Antonio and the Clippers. He was on the Spurs team that won the 2014 NBA title.
