Idaho Steelheads complete Alaska road trip with defeat
Alaska scored twice late in the first period, and the Aces held on to beat the Idaho Steelheads 3-2 in an ECHL hockey game Sunday afternoon.
Justin Breton tied the game 12 minutes, 19 seconds in, and Stephen Perfetto gave Alaska a 2-1 lead at 15:09.
Emil Molin struck first for Idaho (19-18-5) on the power play, and Joe Basaraba had his first Steelheads goal of the season with 1:57 remaining. Rob Linsmayer assisted on both goals.
On Saturday night, Molin scored two goals to lead Idaho to a 3-1 victory.
The Steelheads host Rapid City on Wednesday.
