Jack Campbell made 34 saves to earn his third shutout in his past six appearances, pacing Idaho to a 2-0 win over the Alaska Aces late Friday in an ECHL hockey game.

In seven January starts, Campbell has three shutouts and a one-goal game, improving his goals-against average with Idaho to 1.51 and his save percentage to .947.

Jefferson Dahl scored his team-leading 16th goal of the season for the Steelheads, and Branden Troock, who was reassigned to the team earlier in the day from the AHL’s Texas Stars, also scored for Idaho (18-17-5).
