Steelheads acquire goaltender Komm

Idaho acquired goalie Branden Komm from the South Carolina Stingrays, the ECHL hockey club announced Wednesday.

Komm, 24, is in his second professional season. He’s 6-2-0 in eight appearances this season with a 1.89 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage.

The Texas Stars, Idaho’s AHL affiliate, reassigned forward Brandon Magee from Idaho to South Carolina.
