Idaho Stampede earn rare home victory
Idaho gave up 31 points in the first quarter, but a balanced offensive attack helped the Stampede overcome the slow start for a 101-91 victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors in NBA D-League action Tuesday night at CenturyLink Arena.
Idaho improved its home record to 2-8 this season.
The Warriors scored 14 points in the fourth quarter. Six players scored in double figures for Idaho (8-15), including Jeff Ayres (18 points, nine rebounds), Bryce Dejean-Jones (16) and Phil Pressey (16).
The Stampede host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at 7 p.m. Thursday at CenturyLink Arena before departing on a two-game California trip.
