Stampede fall to Charge in D-League Showcase opener

Idaho fell behind with a lackluster first quarter and couldn’t climb out of the hole, losing to Canton 122-103 in the first game of the NBA Development League Showcase on Wednesday afternoon. Bryce Dejean-Jones led Idaho with 18 points, five rebounds and three steals. Jeff Ayres added 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Phil Pressey scored 14 and dished out five assists. Idaho was able to get the deficit down to four in the second half, but Canton responded with a 13-0 run. Nick Minnerath led Canton with 21 points.
