Idaho ties in the NFL: Week 17

Former Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore wasn’t the only player with Idaho ties to stand out in Week 17.

Here’s a look at how other players fared in the final week of the regular season:

▪ Arizona LG Mike Iupati (No. 76, Idaho) started.

▪ Carolina DE Jared Allen (No. 69, Idaho State) started and made five tackles. Tampa Bay RB Doug Martin (No. 22, Boise State) got the start, rushing for 48 yards on 15 attempts and catching seven passes for 60 yards. OL Evan Smith (No. 62, Idaho State) saw time off the bench.

▪ Chicago LT Charles Leno Jr. (No. 72, Boise State) started. LB Shea McClellin (No. 50, Marsing High/Boise State) saw playing time but did not record any stats

▪ Cincinnati S George Iloka (No. 43, Boise State) made three tackles.

▪ Dallas DT Tyrone Crawford (No. 98, Boise State) and DE DeMarcus Lawrence (No. 90, Boise State) both started, with Crawford totaling three tackles and Lawrence two tackles while combining on a safety. Washington S Jeron Johnson (No. 20, Boise State) made five tackles as a reserve.

▪ Denver C Matt Paradis (No. 61, Council High/Boise State) started, and DB Shiloh Keo (No. 33, Idaho) grabbed an interception.

▪ Miami RB Jay Ajayi (No. 33, Boise State) rushed for 2 yards on seven carries off the bench.

▪ New Orleans TE Josh Hill (No. 89, Blackfoot High/Idaho State) caught one pass for four yards, and CB Kyle Wilson (No. 24, Boise State) made three tackles.

▪ Oakland DE Benson Mayowa (No. 95, Idaho) had one tackle.

▪ Philadelphia DE Brandon Bair (No. 93, South Fremont High) recorded one tackle.
