Colorado puts an end to Steelheads’ streak

Colorado jumped out to a 2-0 first-period lead, and it proved too much as Idaho fell 3-1 in ECHL hockey action at CenturyLink Arena on Friday night.

Steelheads forward Carson McMillan cut the lead to 2-1 in the second period. Colorado added an empty-net goal in the final minute.

The game ended Idaho’s three-game winning streak. Colorado and Idaho end their three-game series Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.
