Stampede can’t hold off Oklahoma City

Jeremy Williams’ game-tying 3-pointer missed with 7.2 seconds left, and Idaho fell to the Blue 101-98 in a battle of the two worst teams in the NBA D-League on Tuesday night at CenturyLink Arena. Brandon Fields led the Stampede with 22 points off the bench, and Bryce Dejean-Jones added 18. Jeff Ayres pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds to go along with 11 points. The Stampede (5-14) took a five-point lead into the fourth and pushed the lead as high as 12, but Oklahoma City (4-13) closed the deficit, tying the game with 3:28 remaining. Idaho scored six points over the final 6:42.
