Idaho Steelheads top division leader Utah again

Forward Emil Molin scored goals in the first and third periods as Idaho knocked off West Division leader Utah 4-1 in ECHL hockey action Monday night.

It was the Steelheads’ fifth consecutive win over the Grizzlies (16-11-2).

Forwards Andre Bouvet-Morrissette and Jake Fallon added a goal apiece for Idaho (13-14-5), and goalie Philippe Desrosiers stopped 24-of-25 shots.

The Steelheads return home for a three-game series with the Colorado Eagles beginning at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday.

The teams meet again Friday and Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.
