Steelheads explode in third for win over Americans

Idaho’s offense came through with four goals in the final period for a 6-3 win Friday night at CenturyLink Arena in ECHL action. Each team took advantage of the other’s mistakes, with Allen scoring all three goals on the power play and Idaho getting two third-period goals with the advantage. Idaho defensemen Zach Yuen tied the game at 3-3 early in the third. Later in the period, Andre Bouvet-Morrissette and Jefferson Dahl scored goals less than a minute apart, giving Idaho a 5-3 lead. The two teams play again Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.
