Stampede fall to Jam; host Bakersfield again Saturday

Idaho couldn’t slow down Bakersfield guard Xavier Munford and lost 103-92 in NBADL action at CenturyLink Arena on Friday night. Munford and the Jam overcame a 10-point first quarter deficit, exploding for 36 points in the second to cut the Stampede lead to 49-46. He led all scorers with 30 points. Idaho had a more balanced effort with five players scoring in double figures. Brandon Fields led the team with 22 points, with Tyus Jones and Tibor Pleiss each adding 15. Pleiss added 11 rebounds. The same teams meet at 8 p.m. Saturday in CenturyLink Arena.
