Tulsa beats Steelheads; coach breaks ECHL record
Ben Walker had two second-period goals and Kevin Carr made 24 saves as the Oilers (9-9-2) topped Idaho 4-2 in an ECHL hockey game Thursday night. Tulsa coach Jason Christie won his 492nd game to set an ECHL record for coaching wins. The Steelheads (7-14-4) trailed 3-0 after two periods before Jefferson Dahl and Andrew Panzarella scored in the third. Idaho and Tulsa meet again Friday night, the third game in three days for the Steelheads.
