Steelheads fall to Americans on the road

The Idaho Steelheads opened their four-game road trip with a 4-0 loss to the Allen Americans on Wednesday in ECHL hockey action. Allen scored two goals in the opening period, putting Idaho into a hole it couldn’t escape. The Americans scored twice more in the third to ice the game. Allen capitalized on Idaho’s mistakes, scoring twice on the power play. The Steelheads put 29 shots on goal.
