Steelheads steamroll Everblades at home

Forward Gemel Smith recorded a goal and two assists in his Steelheads debut, and Idaho defeated Florida 5-1 on Friday night in ECHL hockey action at CenturyLink Arena. Jefferson Dahl recorded a goal and an assist as Idaho outshot Florida 27-24. Goaltender Maxime Lagace and Cole Ully were added to the team along with Smith on Thursday afternoon. Lagace stopped 23 shots on goal, while Ully recorded an assist — and caused a 20-minute delay in the game when he broke the glass on a hard shot.
