Stampede fall to Bighorns; homestand ends Saturday

Erick Green scored 27 points, leading six Reno players in double figures in a 121-97 victory over Idaho on Friday night in NBA D-League action at CenturyLink Arena. The Stampede (1-6) also saw six players score in double digits. Jack Cooley had a team-high 15 points, while Jeff Ayres chipped in 14 points to go with 13 rebounds. The Bighorns jumped on a 35-20 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The teams face off again at 7 p.m. Saturday in Boise.
